Submitted a claim for their lifetime warranty and they had a new case in the mail in about 24 hours. The cases are great quality but it's helpful to know you have the backing of a legitimate warranty.

"It's magnificent to look at and has a great feel. However, after using it for a couple of months I have some things I have come to not like about it. 1. When retrieving items from within the bag, the zippers scratch the skin of your hands. Their sturdy zippers don't get me wrong but for a uni student or someone who uses a backpack daily, this gets annoying fast, I have come to just be mindful around them for this reason. You can get used to something like this, however, why need to get used to it in the first place? 2. As other reviewers have mentioned, the carrying strap atop the bag doesn't have any support to make it stand on its own(whereas the other bag I was looking at, the Saddleback Leather Front Pocket Leather Backpack, does). THis creates the need for me to reach behind my backpack every time I put it on to flip the strap from between my back and the bag to the upright position where it won't feel uncomfortable if it was left lodged in between there. This is very annoying, they could simply do the stitch that the Saddleback bag has(I might have to get this done as it is extremely bothersome). 3. Another aspect that other reviewers have also mentioned is that the bag does not provide any shoulder support whatsoever. Carrying my iPad Pro 12. 9” and MacBook Pro 14” daily around campus along with the other countless things I have in my bag, it gets heavy and hurts the shoulders quickly! Again, they could include shoulder straps like the Saddleback bag, or at least sell them on the side. I will again have to go out of my way to buy them myself from a third party as it does hurt without them. 4. The water bottle compartments are very large as others have mentioned which can cause bottles to not be secure and possibly fall out. 5. Lastly, the bag hangs somewhat far from my upper back which I have noticed when carrying my usual load, which might create pinpoint pressure on my lower back which I have felt pain in recently which I think is due to this reason. Overall, I have gotten countless compliments for the bag but do now have to live with these issues above. However, it is most likely still more economical than the Saddleback bag with all these issues ‘solved’. Hope this helps!"

"Great aesthetic, lots of compliments, amazing feel! However, zippers sort of hurt hands while getting things (especially when retrieving a device from the computer pocket in the main pocket of the bag as it’s awkward to reach back there), straps aren’t the most comfortable when you have a heavy-ish load(as a college student, always a heavy load), the sides of the independent computer’s zipper aren’t covered by a little leather flap like the others so impromptu rain would most likely get in I reckon. Also, the big atop isn’t necessary just for looks if you want to keep that in mind as you will have to lift it every time you need to retrieve something(but that can be seen in the pictures). Overall, very good and no doubt lovely to look at and have at your side."

"The quality and design of this backpack are really great, but their customer service is above and beyond. The first backpack I received had a flaw in the leather which I didn’t notice until after I had used it, I contacted them and they let me exchange it even though it wasn’t resellable. The replacement they sent also sub-par, but they were generous enough to let me make another exchange. The third and final backpack I received is absolutely perfect and I know it will last many years of daily use. Maybe their quality control is a little inconsistent, but I still rate them 5 stars because their customer service is spectacular, and once you do get a satisfactory product the quality really is amazing for the price. The leather is durable but soft, and not too heavy. The size is great, roomy interior without being too large, and the water bottle pockets on the sides are really convenient. Overall I’d say it’s a great backpack, and it’s hard to find anything better at this price point."
