We’ve got you covered with a few simple things to keep your Bullstrap leather accessories looking as they should: top-notch, that is.

Who Doesn’t Want Leather Products?

There are several reasons to choose leather when it comes to your accessories: a leather Apple Watch band is timeless, leather wallets are tough, and a leather iPhone case is not only practical but looks good too. Aside from the aesthetic, leather is a great choice for the following reasons:

  • It’s tough and long-lasting.

How to Take Care of Your Leather:

If you love the texture and look of leather as much as we do, you’ll want to preserve it. Taking care of leather watch bands, leather wallets, and even your leather iPhone case are all going to be fairly similar processes; start by weatherproofing the leather, then frequently clean and condition your leather to keep it looking great and functioning even better.

1. Clean Your Leather

Spot clean your leather regularly with a clean bristle brush or a lint-free cloth. If needed, add a bit of leather cleaner to your cloth and work in circular motions as you clean your leather accessories. Consider waterproofing your leather accessories to help avoid liquid stains. Most leather waterproofing comes as a spray; be sure to only spray the leather portions of your accessories, and keep a good distance from them as you evenly coat them in a light spray.

3. Condition Your Leather

You want your leather soft to the touch, right? Just like your skin or hair, you’ll wanna keep your leather smooth, soft, and crack-free by applying a conditioner after cleaning. Once the leather has been cleaned and is completely dry, use a lint-free cloth to apply conditioner with circular motions.


Again, many of the Bullstrap leather accessories won’t take much conditioner, and you’ll want to use small circular motions when applying. For our larger items, like leather backpacks, you can increase the size of the circular motions and apply more conditioner to your cloth as needed.

  • Avoid storing in extreme heat.
  • Don’t leave your leather products exposed to direct sunlight.
